First-Year Information Sessions
First-year Information (FYI) sessions are held before each term for new, incoming students.
FYI sessions cover:
- university terminology
- degree and major requirements
- creating your timetable
- how and when to register
- how to use WebAdvisor/Student Planning (live demonstration)
Below are FYI sessions prior to the upcoming Fall Term in 2025. Pre-registration is required for an FYI session. Sign up now for an FYI session!
ROOM CHANGE: In-person sessions will now be held in Room 1L13 on the first floor of Lockhart Hall (instead of Room 1Ri50, as originally planned).
TIP: Sign up for an FYI Session in May or June to make sure you understand the registration process before the initial registration period.
